Well, as some of you may aleady know i
went to
"BUILD
A WALL" this weekend !
it was FAB...(Kinda)... well put it this
way i didn't think it was gna be as hard as it was!
Had a bit of a reunion wiv sum RYLA
lot! OLVER and JADE MARK KEN and of course BEXS, and met sum new ppl
as well which was great!
so 1st day
we turned up on the friday night at
about..8pm was supposed to turn up at 7.30 but we can blame that
on the navigator... STEPH! or should i say the none-navigator!
that was a great night all we did was get
aquainted with the place all over again and watch movies!! YAY!!
that was the easy part. Watched the
fantastic 4 and Waterboy... has anyone actually seen that movie!
how wierd is that movie?!!
had pizzaswhich of course was great...
ahem ahem... who was it that had seconds, and thirds.. u know
who u r?!
so.. 2nd day
heres where it all went downhill. (only
joking) At least we didnt get woken up until half 7, unlike
RYLA getting woken up by a fog horn at 6..6.30 was it? had
breakfast and a whole long, long, long day ahead of us!
we actually built the wall that needed
building which was great, we filled the spaces and back with
broken bricks, and morter, oliver had a go at breaking the
bricks with a sledgehammer!, im almost certain that he loved it!
we moved the bricks from the middle of the car park to the top
near the hostel, which took a very long time, carrying, filling,
and cleaning!, and oh yeah the bricks were 64kilos, without
breaking them in half! trust me i'm paying the price now with
aching muscles!, but they are soothing down now..! couldnt even
copy off the board properly on the monday in school because of
my wrist and biceps hurting so much.
i must say that the RYLA lot do
know how to feed u properly!, once again a certain sumone went
for seconds and thirds but it was funny dnt blame him the food
was fab!
got absolutely filthy as hell, my mum was
not very pleased with the washing load when i got home!!
but hey wot can i do about it!
that saturday night was fab as well! apart
from the fact that i got scolded and froze to death at the same
time.. those showers really need to get fixed !
we played cards as well, i must say irish
snap is a fab game! Ken bless him was a bit slow on the uptake
of the actual game but hey wot can you do, at least everyone
else didnt lose!!
we watched the bourne identity. it realy
is a good movie isn't it!
ddint get to sleep until late we stayed up
debating with oliver, and thats the reason why im not doing
politics !.... fun though, so i guess the night took us into the
early hours of the morning of the sunday!
so... lastly the 3rd day!
we cud not be bothered with getting up!
what time did we actually manage to drag ourselves out of bed?!
i cant remeber, i took the easy job of pumping the water out of
the well, others put down the paving along the wall. and then we
pumped out the muck, n mud from the bottom of the well! hehe got
out of that one!! the mattresses got changed as well in both the
girls and boys rooms, and the road got cleaned, by means of 2
leaf bloweres, shovels and rakes! that was quite an easy job as
well ....just really really boring, lunch came quick n fast, n
once agen it was fab... we sort of
monovered the contents of the table to favour those of us from
RYLA !whoops! that was fun though, and packed our bags! not
that some people had much to pack?!
and come 2.30-3.00 we were heading home!
it was a fun filled long weekend, fun!
nice to meet up with old mates! and got a few jobs dun along the
way!
cant wait for another get together maybe
next time with most of the RYLA crew!
we can dream !
an overall fantastic! fun!, and eventful
weekend!
