hi i was wondering if anyone could help me with the information i should write on my application form to help me get a placement??????? Hiya...not really able to do that from here....the 'application form' will have been sent by you by your local Rotary Club and will have been they who have devised it prior to selection of people for them to send on the course. But if you have a good surf of the web-site it will give you an excellent overview of what the course is about and what you will get out of it and how you will be able to use it in your future development and to help others. That should then give you an excellent basis on what to cover in your application I would think. Hope that helps. Tim.

hi this is christine rogers i went to ryla in oregon illinois and i had a blast whoever has not gone should go and i met new friends and people and had a blast we went hiking had speakers ate and a whole bunch of other things CHRISTINE ROGERS p.s. i would like to contact and ask questions like when i went in oregon they were going to send us a c.d. and i never got one so i was wondering if they sent them and i didnt get one or they didnt send them yet i wasnt sure but i would love to have one cause it was a blast and we learned about leadership witch is an important part of life (good to hear from you Christine...but this is the Yorkshire, England RYLA website...sorry.)

The 28th August, 7 ryalarians will be jumping out of a plane, 13,000 feet up,
with nothing but a parachute and a Red Devil attached to them! The 7 people

Dear All, Well it has been a while since I last looked at this website and hasn't it come on! There really is so much information on here and I would just like to say well done to Tim, Bex and everyone else who has put time and effort into it, oh and of course thanks to everyone who has submitted a report as it is only through your points, notes discussion, debriefs and experiences that people can learn. They do say that a sensible man learns from the mistakes of others... Like Ruth I too have received my invite to the reunion. Can I just say that it sounds like a great idea and I hope I can get there, will just have to wait to find out where my new job sends me in December. That said, the idea of a reunion is almost as daunting as going on my first RYLA. What will it be like? Will I remember anyone? Will everyone all be hugely successful and making their own way in the world? I hope so. So looking forward in anticipation to next year and wishing everyone much success in their life until then, Tika PS anyone out there wondering whether to apply to go on RYLA and feeling a little bit wary of it all, don't worry, just get out there and do it, the course is one of those amazing building blocks for the future, enjoy!!

Any1 about to take the course should realise that its incredibly sad to leave because the friends you make will mean the world to you once youve finished. Hey Guys Im Stuart and i did this course in 2004. This was one of my best weeks of my life and the friends you make from this will stay with you for life. As proof of this next year im living at uni in my 2nd year with two other people i met at ryla. Heya every1!! gr8 site btw!! im one of the golden oldies i took the course back in 2004 (3rd course) it was one of the best weeks of my life and jst looking back over the photos of the new courses really brought back the memories and a tear to my eye!! we had some amazing times go team machine!! wooooo!! if anyone has any pictures from that course then i would really really appreciate them!! id very much like the ones back from when i was dressed as a woman on stage in the bikini with the ginger wig on cos i need to destroy the evidence lol anyways if any1 wants to email me my addys i_am_fergi@hotmail.com hopefully will tlk 2 you all soon loadsa love Matt xx
